Perfect is out.

Perfect is out. Flaws are in.

Not in a performative way, but in a way that feels intentional.

There was a time when everything was about looking absolutely perfect... for most of modern society I think we can all agree that has been the case. As time has gone on, there have been more and more ways to achieve aesthetic "perfection"..if you want it.

Smooth, lifted, perfected to the point of almost being unrecognizable.

And like everything that becomes overdone, it’s starting to feel… expected.

When Pamela Anderson stepped out barefaced during Paris Fashion Week in 2023, it made headlines. It was one of the most beautiful things she has ever done, and possibly her most iconic public appearance to date.

And the headlines do say a ton...not just about fashion, but about society.

There is something undeniably striking about a face that hasn’t been overworked. A softness. A presence. A kind of confidence that doesn’t rely on perfection.

This isn’t to say enhancement doesn’t have its place in hottie history. Long live botox and all it's supporters, I am not opposed to it if things go left for me in the future.

At the end of the day, beauty and fashion has always been about choice, and it should stay that way.

But when one look becomes saturated, the opposite becomes powerful.

And right now, natural feels powerful.

It’s showing up in fashion the same way.

The return of Y2K wasn’t just about nostalgia, it was about ease. Unexpected pairings. A little glamour, a little undone. Effortless in a way that can’t be manufactured.

Nothing overly styled. Nothing too perfect.

Just… selected.

And that’s where real style lives.

So consider this your invitation.

Not to do less. NEVER do less..but-

Please, do what actually feels like you.

Lean into what hasn’t been overcorrected, because what makes you distinct is what makes you memorable.

And that, more than anything, is fashion.
